Rj is an award winning, highly acclaimed photographer with a background emanating from fashion and portraiture. Compositional awareness is a key element in all images irrespective of the subject. Moving away from studio work, a new challenge to create compelling photographs in everyday encounters is underway, along with some new personal projects. A new book is in the works, showcasing street photography shot with a field of view of 35mm and under.
Rj attended the distinguished Germain School of Photography in lower Manhattan. He is known for accentuating the simplicity and elegance of light, as well as crossing the boundaries of traditional media to hybrid techniques and formats.
